Electrosprayer/Electrospinner

Fibrous materials and micro- and nanoparticle materials play a big role in manufacturing of artificial tissues. We have assembled an integrated collection of Spraybase equipment that support electrospinning and electrospraying in multiple formats. The suite of equipment includes a climate-controlled chamber with collectors for unaligned and aligned fibers, fabricating fibrous conduits, electrospraying particles, and a large rotating drum with a multi-emitter system. The suite includes a variety of emitters for deposition of up to three different solutions at once for any of the collectors. Emitters are formatted for a variety of orifice sizes, and include an option for coaxial flow for core/shell materials. Flow can be controlled via either a pressure vessel (useful for low viscosity solutions) or traditional screw-driven syringe pumps.
